[Character, RFC] The Family Dog

#4
I'm happy to hear that, Bob.  I was kinda worried that the idea of a dog that can charge through anything, X-3 Juggernaut style, would be considered overkill.
Vacuum support? I don't see why he wouldn't have his own suit. (^_^)  Hrm...  For kicks, take the rocket pack from The Rocketeer, split that down the middle, and make it into a saddle-style rocket rig.  That'd be Oliver's thruster-pack.  Helmet is a traditional 'Fishbowl' and the suit itself is a relaxed-fit to accomadate the fur coat.  No clumsiness with the tail since his was docked.  Just for pure S&G, he'll have a whip-antena poking up from the computer he'll wear on his back.
Rob: Yes, he would be. Of course, as mentioned, he's still just a dog. A very smart dog, but a dog nontheless. If you need reference, think of Kit Rodriguez's dog, Poncho, in Diane Duane's Young Wizards series. Due to magical leakage, Poncho gains some magical abilities of his own... But the way he uses them are pretty much what you would expect of a dog: He made a universe full of nothing but grassy fields with swarms of squirrels to chase. Not eat. Just chase. Oliver shares this trait of humility.
