To summarize the hurt feelings of the 191USA commander
on the scene: "help, help, I'm being repressed!".
Lieutenant Castleton, the negotiator you sent down with us,
is still talking to them, but that seems to be a good summary
of what they have to say. The Yank CO, a Major Abernathy, is
apparently very upset by the idea that Canadians can get
along perfectly well without his tanks to keep them away from
dangerous ideas like freedom and not being Americans if they
don't want to be. I'm trying very hard to keep this one
particular Canadian Foreign Affairs guy away from him, the
fellow's a rabid Free Quebecoise and even the RCMP guys are
looking like they'd rather be able to send him away.
So far, there hasn't been much more in the way of shooting.
Trying to keep it that way,

Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode.
