I went looking for it on the web. From what I gather, the original slow scan TV tapes were recorded over sometime in the 80's. They think the SSTV recording still exists in Australia, but don't know where it is. What they released last year seems to have been a digitally cleaned up version of the original broadcast version, which was created by pointing a camera at the SSTV version on a monitor. It's all a bit confusing.
I don't have a login there yet... and wouldn't be quite sure how to categorise it.
