Hell, we can even say that Ben's dropped you a standing offer of employment for their mecha corps - and these guys welcome cybers. The Roughriders are truly multi-factional and one of the standards for working there is that you have to play nice with others... and not just act at it, either.
In case you have any doubts, remember this: Ben's wife and first-officer is an infomorph, his daughter is a spontaneous biological handwavium-construct built off his DNA, his second-officer is an army of Rei-clones and one of his trusted lieutenants is a Senshi. Anyhow, I can definitely see Roughriders pulling an anti-zwilnik op. And the Blackbird in question would probably be the Black Betty, the Suicide Girl (wiki link) of the hangar. She's a nice enough girl to everyone else, but sneaky and underhanded in a fight.
