To New Year's and then reevaluate based on the content produced, I think. If we've gotten enough stuff done, we can reopen the floating now. If not, then we keep the hold until the content's finished.
The things I want to see at least fully outlined and sizable sections of story done on are:
* Crystal Osaka
* Serenitycon
* Into the Great Wide Open (mostly on me)
* The final attack on Boskone Prime
* Mr. Fnord Goes To Washington (all on me, but there's not that much that needs doing to make it a coherent story)
...also at some point during this time period I'd like to get the first section or two of South Is Rising out the door & posted to !here places to drum up some interest.
Well, we're at the halfway point (discounting winter exams for those of us still in college and "crunch time" at work before Christmas vacation for the rest of us), and of those six things to be done, we've done a little bit of the first one and a bit more of the last one. Nothing's anywhere near the point where it's ready to be released.
I'll put together a scratchpad document for the Fall of Boskone Prime, and share it with everybody who has share rights on the Fall of Crystal Osaka - that'll at least make a stab at the fourth item on that list. Somebody else gets to take charge of SerenityCon...
Edit: Okay, access to the GoogleDocs is now consistent: everybody who has access to either of the "The South Is Rising, Somebody Get a Hammer" documents or the "Fall of Crystal Osaka" document now has edit rights to all three plus "BoskonePrime.doc". Maybe actually letting people into the documents will help them add to the stories...?
