That's something that's been listed on Ford's fenwiki page as something originally thought to be hardware, but most likely a minor biomod. The sort you get when you forget you still have some handwavium residue on your hands, pick up a sandwich, eat it then carry on as if nothing happened and never notice anything different until months or years after the fact.
Although, I changed it in the doc to show it's something Ford believes to be psychosomatic, having had the work done within the last few weeks. (She only just started as a Bounty Hunter when the system itself was instated)
