Not to mention that the story wouldn't have had that 'at the edge of disaster' feel to it if it were Jet riding the bike.

And writing solely for 'Jet does something epic' would be a little bit boring. Better to let some poor random 'dane get shot across the desert in his own sort of self insert story.

I wonder if Ben would be up for drag racing the things. While the fella's at the FIM and FAI are probably just going to go a little spare.
