Drug autoinjectors designed for self administration, one loaded with a single-shot mix of Quickheal and Painaway, and another colour coded neon-green loaded with a shot of low-quirk handwavium. The specific strain and expected effects depends on the kit's origin. (A common one would be Senshi strain, because beyond one obvious quirk, the end result is usually extremely stable)
The contents are often modified by individual for their own unique personal needs, or desires. Many replace the standard wave-injector with one containing a different strain of their own choice.
I can't recall what actual soldiers would carry on themselves, but it's probably some variation on that, contained in a vacuum-sealed pack.
