Jet would request that the hardsuit not be replicated. Not out of any desire to protect the design, but simply because Jet genuinely feels the method istoo dangerous and unstable to be re-used. There's near 100Kg of wave in the armour alone.... and Jet doesn't want repeat of the same incident if another wearer of a Jet Hardsuit get's biomodded while wearing one, all that wave might react and repeat.
Although, sometime towards the end of 2015, Arthur might receive an email containing the details of the early Stingray hardsuits..... under an LGPL license. Being made of metal makes it a lot less likely to fuse. It doesn't stop one or two from trying....
While Motorslave can exist beforehand (I'd be amazed if they didn't)...... Jet has her own version of them beginning in 2017/18.
It takes Jet several years to try any large-sized handwavium related projects however (her confidence is knocked, and then the Boskone conflict and Jet's training/duties mean there's little or no time to do much that's sparky until Jet moves in to Frigga and has more hours in the day to fill).... and even then, what Jet builds is pared to the bone with the bare minimum of waving to get it to work. Jet's 'Bubblegum Wave' quirk manifests pretty awkwardly if his armour comes in contact with any sample being used.... it'll do weird things around the shop for certain until it's discovered.
That just depends on the simulation hardware. But trust me, even a decent high-res video will be an adrenaline rush for most mundanes. If only to make them wince as Jet skims under bridges, and through the gap between a pair of trucks at speeds so high it would be.... messy.... to crash.
