Fair nuff, but reading it certainly left me with the feeling it would work for the horse whisperer person.

I considered that, but there are several things which just don't fit:

• The Horse Whisperer is a bit mythic, Mako is rather more grounded than that.
• HW is living handwavium, Mako is bio-cybernetic.
• The HW is their own rider, Mako is definitely a horse looking for her rider.
• HW is a smith, a farrier, a person who has dedicated their life to horses, Mako is a warrior, and any smithing is a secondary thing, to maintain her own equipment, using the Forge; horses aren't that important in her life.
• HW is a 'local', Mako believes she is from another world, a different dimension.
  

If Mako's rider does turn up (which I'm unsure is possible in the Fenspace setting; but, transfictionality...) that would be a definite DQS Event, with bells and whistles on it. I doubt he'd be too happy about the local reality, and he's a power-armour wearing cyberpunk sorcerer...  Yes, he has World Gate spells...

oh, and a clarification: Fly tipping is what we in the US would call "illegal dumping", right?
