I should think that Fenputers  would make Microsoft products seem sane, viable and bug-free by comparison.
Good opening, Rob : I like the implied future conflict between spunky, allegorically named youth ( What gulf will she bridge, I wonder?) & upfront Fate...uh, Karma...uh, Lachesis. Will Lynne survive her Destinee with her spunk intact? If you find your story developing darkly I can arrange for Lynne to be rescued by a surgical Shegoth strike. Tongue
