JakeGrey, I welcomed you to the Collective already; I see I was right to do so. You've written an interesting origin story that doesn't conflict with any of the existing origins and still includes a "first," you've painted (at least in broad strokes) a character that's interesting, and you did the research ahead of time. I look forward to reading more about Mr. Rutley.
As for a name for the ship... well, that's one of my weak points, too. Sorry about that.
