As much as this makes me smile and ache inside... theres too much risk of blowback when you go public. That's why I'm only discussing this on a private list for the time being. Too many ugly things happen when the rest of the interwave starts brigading with righteous fury. I think we can all name at least one occasion where that's gotten way out of hand. It gives him space to back down and back away from the table and maybe learn a lesson and try become a better human being. If we start public, then we get the toxic elements digging in behind looking for another Gate to rattle on. And that just results in someone certain they did nothing wrong, backed by the metastising legions of adoring fans, and more hassle than I need in my life.

That strongly depends on your definition of 'abandoned'. I wasn't in a position to object to it being removed. By the time I was, I had no idea where it'd gone. By the time I knew, we're running into the above problem. I can see how an arbiter might call it against me.

That said, I do appreciate the sentiment.

Sueing is just a little bit too public. The aim is too keep this off the radar for the time being. Things get messy when they go public and far more comes out than anyone wants. And, to be straight-up, I don't think I have the general rep in reserve to really take that sort of hit right now. I'm still carrying black marks from Arcadia. And Motorcon. I've got a bit too much of a glass house around me to be throwing stones right now.
