Iran Satire
Re: reply
#7
I'd like to point out with a free press that is a private business, the key word in that not private but *business*. The press contrary to popular opinion tends to be more conservative (in the real, not the US politics sense) because change is a risk, and risk is usually a bad thing (from the perspective of a business at least).
If the government says if you print this we will give you an expensive lawsuit for violating confidentiality laws, or for disrupting the public peace one of two things will happen. The business will cave quietly, or if it thinks this tidbit of news will sell enough copies to pay for the lawsuit, it will scream about it to no end. Integrity is rarely involved, it's bad for business.
E: "Did they... did they just endorse the combination of the JSDF and US Army by showing them as two lesbian lolicons moving in together and holding hands and talking about how 'intimate' they were?"
B: "Have you forgotten so soon? They're phasing out Don't Ask, Don't Tell."
