Slightly encouraging news from Korea

The South Koreans would be insane to refuse the assistance of the US in helping to maintain the DMZ. Past incursions have shown that the DPRK will try just about anything, even dig tunnels under the DMZ, just to get one over their Southern counterparts.

Also, we don't want a pissing contest with the DPRK. The Pentagon is well aware of what the DPRK would do to the ROK within mere hours. And no amount of 'nuking the bastards' would stop them in time. We all know about the DPRK's reinforced artillery bunkers that are heavily resistant to nuclear blasts and would take far too long for the soldiers manning them to die of radiation poisoning.

We won't engage them. Mad Dog Mattis is too intelligent for that. Trump will have to fire him, first, or get Congress to pass a declaration of war. Unless we come up with some sort of trump card (heh).
