I think some of the posters yesterday were on the mark - Trump got really bothered when Sessions started working on asset forfeiture.
He's got a lot of property in New York, where they're pursuing investigations into his past activities...
Imagine the complete meltdown if law enforcement in NY seized Trump Tower as instrumental in the commission of a crime.
