So did we, until Spud noted that, as far as he's been able to determine, Sammy's physically 21. However, she spent a good deal of time
"feral" and as such has yet to truly mature mentally to match her physical age. And due to malnutrition
during that stage, it's also not immediately recognizable that the two don't match up either.

Alice, by contrast, was orphaned at an early age, but never spent a couple years living like a wild cat, eating out of garbage cans, and the like. Thus,
she's mentally more mature than Sammy, leading to the conflicting data.
