Isabel slowly woke up, the first think she noticed was that it was warm… last time she had woken up, it had
been cold. As her eye's slowly adjusted to the light, see realised that she wasn't in the Cryo lab.
She slowly Sat up and looked around, all sorts of medical equipment lined the walls and several plasma screens hung from the roof on folding arm array.
Carefully she slid off the bench and headed to one of the shelves when she heard a voice from behind her.
"Ahh, you're finally awake." She turned around and saw Dib sitting at a desk, she spotted several wires slowly withdrawing into his sleaves.
"How do you feel?" he asked.
Isabel thought about the question. "I feel… good… wait, I said I, I didn't say I and we at the same time… why?"
"I am taking a more active roll in your therapy, I have made some slight alterations to your code, think of it as medication."
"…I'm fixed?"
"To a degree, there is still a fair bit of work that needs to be done."
".. Dose this mean I can go outside?"
"Not quite yet, but you are allowed to go anywhere in the base you like."
Isabel ran over to Dib and pulled him into a tight Hug. 'Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou." She blabbered.
Dib blinked several times before rather mechanically returning the Hug.
After a moment Dib cleared his throat. "Now Isabel, there are a few things we need to take care of, first is you quarters."
"I get my own room?"
"Yes, and tomorrow we shall start some simple training exercises, the results of these tests will allow me to find what roll best suits you."
She smiled at him and jumped to her feet. "I'll do my very bestest Da… sir, I won't disappoint you."
"Good, I'll let Number Nine take you to your quarters." Dib taped a button on the desk and the door opened.
Isabel let out a startled squeak as an ape like figure in combat fatigues entered the room. It turned to her, she could see that most of it's face was
covered by something that looked cross between a gas mask and a breathing apparatus.
It slowly lumbered over to her and cocked its head. "So… this the new one boss?" it questioned in a rasping voice.
"Yes No. 9, show her to her quarters and then report to Caz, theirs another "incident" Crey needs to make disappear."
Isabel flinched away as No. 9 lurched over to her. "Come on, the sooner I get this over with the sooner I get to have some fun."
She gave Dib a questioning look, he smiled and nodded, taking a deep breath she followed No. 9 out of the room.
---
Dib turned back to the computer. He felt odd. He could remember the last time some one had hugged him…
He shook his head. there was no point in dwelling on it. He had other things to deal with.
He typed in a command and brought up the Isabel's file and carefully reviewed the data he had so far.

Dib looked over the entry, there were many blanks… probably put in place by some one in Crey that still didn't quite trust him, not that it mattered. He
taped the key board and started writing his report.

I have started undoing the damage that was done to subject 03's mindscape, but I believe that's it will take weeks of effort to bring her back to what
she was.
The personality matrix has been returned to the twin aspect, but I have introduced several stimuli that should prevent a repeat of what happened during the
unit's field test.
I believe that if unit 03 is ever to be a combat class A.I., I require all of the original documentation of her creation. With out this, I believe that's
she will never reach her full potential.
I also request additional lab assistance, ones that have undergone a complete security check, I would prefer not
to have a repeat of the "Proto type 05" incident.
In other news, the 5th squad of Golems are ready for deployment to I believe the will be quite happy
with his new soldiers, as before the have the sanded fail safes installed in case tries to turn against us.
Dib sent of the communiqué and smiled as the computer let out a beep for every time the message was viewed by unauthorised personnel, his Golems had gained him
enough interest to prevent a direct retaliation form his rivals. He was beginning to enjoy the world of business, it kept him on his toes. And he was quickly
learning that he couldn't allow himself any weakness… especially around Madigan.
Getting up out of his chair, he decide to see how No. 9 was looking after Isabel. He needed to be careful with her, something about the construction of her
