I mean, this is Crey. When in doubt, they make their own.

Aside from Searrs' artificial HiME research, the other things Hopkins got were pretty much the entirety of the M.I.Y.U. project data. As noted, using
Natsuki's bio data just lets them rush it into production faster when they create the final hybrid design.
