well here's hoping that damage is minimal.
and two computer related pieces of advice:
1) if you are able to get back inside before they turn the power back on, unplug your computer. So that if it got wet you can let it dry out before you put juice through it
2) do you have offsite backup of some kind (even if it is storing a hard drive at a friends house)? I don't think you should have lost any data from this, but it's a demonstration of a close call.
