And what gave Doug most of his problem with the simulacra of the Warriors was indeed the powers they had to use -- but their level of independence/personality also contributed, as a part of Doug's (subconscious) mind had to "roleplay" each one. A mass of faceless soldiers who just follow orders would indeed be a lot easier to manifest.
