Gah. Gives me End of Evangelion flashbacks.

it strikes me as a Summon (Army of Angels).

Maybe it summons the Mass Production Evas...

If he uses it in NGE, yeah.  It would be bad.  In other worlds, probably a more standard version of Angel.  
  

Which leads to some speculation as to the results if he uses it in the Buffy Step... (Okay, I'm just playing off the name here.)

More seriously, isn't Belldandy's angel named Holy Bell?
