Power: I honestly can't think of anything for this one.
What comes to me is the song grants Doug the ability to see the actions/information he needs to do/have to reach a goal.  If you've read Fred Saberhagen's The Mask of the Sun then it would work like the mask in the story by showing what to do to get the outcome Doug wants when he starts playing the song.
