As for the jackets, the closest is the Born To Be Wild, which has at least a suggestion of the flap across the chest. It's not long enough (it practically reaches the opposite shoulder) and doesn't have the clasps, but it could serve in a pinch.
Oh, and as for the model? While it is nothing like I imagined him, it is still somehow very much him. Except the hair, which Doug wears almost but not quite in a crew cut to avoid the problem of helmet hair (as seen on a recent Progressive Insurance commercial).
