The Naruto bit, though...I dunno. I don't know what canon has to say about the Big Bad Ultimate Sharingan now, since I haven't been keeping up to date. But I've never liked the idea of a Uchiha character gaining the Deus Ex Eyeball by accidentally killing their best friend - I dunno. Shouldn't there be some element of intent to the ritual?
Yeah, I know, there's Kakashi, but I dunno what the deal is with him. I suppose an accidental killing could work for Big Bad Contact Lens evolution if we figure Kakashi got it that way. Maybe he stared at the memorial stone meditating upon the true meaning of emo until he obtained his version. That's my theory anyway. The true transformative emancipatory power of guilt and emo.
Whose descendant is Namiko supposed to be, by the way? Or not the eventual bloodspawn of anyone we'd know? Is she Naruto's great-grandkid or something, just for ultimate irony?
