Back in London, Harthacnut puts his life on the line. Over at Aros, Dogsbreath reaches (what he thinks is) his last hope. On the Moorfields, outwith the walls of London, Harthacnut proves himself a sore loser at the end, but Stoick gives him the respect due a fallen foe just the same. In Berkian waters, Spitelout puts Hiccup's surprise gift to very good use. In Vedrarfjord, Hiccup shows us why angels run when a good man goes to war. Near Aros again, Dogsbreath and Inga make their farewells to the Danes. In Bari, Sigurd wraps up a smaller, but not really lesser, curb-stomping. My summary: HP and Tom have been reincarnating at various points in time for longer than they can subjectively count, this time they're back in their original lives and decided to take all the amusement they can from it, full crack-ship with vague traces of plot mixing in lately but written to a far better standard than that normally implies. Recommended as long as you're not going to get worried about them both happening to be male in this lifetime, not explicit IIRC despite the M, though there is salty language and a pantsless older Tom fleeing out of teen girl Harry's window in one of the previous-life flashback omake. (Best not to read at work just to be safe, especially since I only reread the immediately previous chapter and have a high tolerance for that sort of thing so it pretty much has to be straight up porn before it really stands out as notable.) Official summary: Harry and Tom's souls are tied together. Which is why they're in this endless loop of rebirth. At some point, they stopped caring and just started fucking with people.
