She inquired among their friends and relatives and was astonished to realize that "Everybody is using the wrong expression except for me!" ----- “We’ve had our differences, but he’s seen the light … and I made sure he moved toward it, instead of coming back.” (09-25-2020, 05:56 PM)Norgarth Wrote: If you want to see what that looked like in real life, go to Margate, NJ and check out "Lucy", the other one they built, which is still around: lucy_the_elephant.jpg (Size: 66.78 KB / Downloads: 162) Even better, it's on AirBnB if you want to stay overnight in it. Uh, no, and uh, no. This is, sadly, not up for debate. And I'm not buying a bra just for one single top. (Sorry, I may have gone into Rant Mode. Ask me about pockets sometime.)

It's bad enough with jeans and usable pockets (and I refuse outright to buy pants with illusion pockets that can't even be used for quarters, much less anything of volume, if you can put in the illusion of a pocket, you can put in a damned real pocket), but skirts and dresses I think I have one of each that have any sort of pockets. I'm going to need to just make more skirts so I can have more pockets. Even enough to put my cell phone in would make me nice and happy.

The weirdest thing is, it used to be that skirts had pockets. Sure, often cunningly disguised pockets, but pockets. And not those 'you'd be lucky to fit a single coin' pockets either. Deep ones that'll fit your hand with room left over.
