Trump news the second

Logan.

I agree.

Clinton is fairly evil. Like Empress Palpatine. But Evil will still govern out of self interest to at least a 'minimum' standard, lest it be deposed. Stupid has no such inclination

Disclaimer: the attached is an Andy Borowitz "report" for The New Yorker, and should be considered in the same vein as an article from The Onion.
Summary: the Republican Party could recover from the Trump debacle as early as 2096 ... although 2132, after everyone who witnessed the 2016 campaign has died, is a more realistic estimate....

No, it ISN'T what it is!

There will need to be another conservative party to take their place in the meantime.

How about something more friendly than the "Grand Old Party" like... Oh, I dunno. How about, "The Sensible Conservatives Party"? (We can neither confirm nor deny any connection to the SCP Foundation.) :V

So cute!  If you don't think that Hillary knew exactly what to say about her husband in a presidential debate ten years ago you have no understanding of her.  Also anyone who in any way holds her responsible for her husband's actions against her is a terrible person and belongs in the basket of deplorables.
In more recent news, fellow groper Arnold Schwarzenegger has come out against Trump, Condoleeza Rice has asked Trump to withdraw, and Fox News people are talking about how to break up Hillary's coalition in four years.
Khagler, given Trump's temperament how sure are you that he won't say something about Bill's peccadilloes and attach it to her? He already made threats to do just that.

He shouldn't. Once he does, he's wide open for the debate equivalent of an artillery strike from battleship guns.

I have no defense for Trump, none whatsoever. On the other hand I notice that this just happened to be released the same day as Wiki leaks released another data dump on Hilary and all the bullshit she has pulled. For all his failings I still trust Trump more than Hillary. Why you ask, so I ask in return which is worse, the man who makes the comments or the woman who supported the act and then did everything possible to discredit the victims.

well lets see here's the Daily Caller's Article, its the most recent and was the first to pop up on a google search

heres a Wikipedia article on the subject though I honestly trust Wikipedia about as far as i can throw a Cat dozer

Both Willey and Broderick state that not only did Hilary know but that she threatened and attempted to ruin them in the public eye when they made their accusations, I don't know about any of you but i am old enough to remember the Paula Jones accusation and the claims of innocence by Bill and Hillary's public (on National Television no less) denouncement of Jones as a liar and a floozy

From the reports I heard, the wiki release as done after the hot mike video surfaced. You are correct in the timing of it, it makes me wonder if the Russians are trying to muddy the waters here. The only reason anyone would vote for Trump now is that he is not going to be interested in the day to day running of the country and that he would sign any piece of legislation a GOP controlled legislature would shove across his desk.  That implies that he can quote "controlled". Do you really believe that?

Trump did pretty good in this debate, probably due to getting his dose from a better dealer.  Seriously what was up with the sniffles?  And the lurking behind Hillary like a predator?  But at least it was obvious he prepared, and Hillary didn't have the best night.  She really didn't defend herself that well on the email scandal, and let a lot of his attacks slide.
Though that was kind of a sideshow.  These people hate each other.  In the words of a CNN article, "This is what scorching the earth looks like."
Trump said that in his administration, Mrs. Clinton would go to jail.  Seriously.  Or the moment when he disagreed with Mike Pence on Russia by saying "He and I haven't spoken and I disagree."  Pence promptly praised the Donald's debate performance on Twitter before cancelling all campaign events for the third straight day.

Well, he may had stopped the bleeding, but he didn't pick up any new votes. Considering he was already in the hole before this.

I understand it takes a minimum 15% response to the opinion-poll question "who do you plan to vote for?" in order to be invited to take part in a Presidential debate.

Which do people expect to see in the next debate: Gary Johnson (of the Libertarian Party), Jill Stein (of the Green Party), or both?

Neither. Clinton and Trump has 90% of the possible votes.

DW8, Chapter 3 Wrote:"One key identifying characteristic of evil is that it
sees other living creatures — sentient beings or not — as
things to use, abuse, and discard in order to achieve its
goals. Empathy is alien to it; it has no care for the feelings
of other beings except when it delights in their manipulation.
An evil person may have exceptions to this general perception,
but that's all they are — exceptions. Uncommon cases somehow
special and different from the vast bulk of humanity...."Evil — true Evil — is very often convinced it is
Good or acting for the good of others. It is, in fact, far
more certain that it is Good than Good is — and that's how you
can often tell the difference. Good doubts itself and the means
it uses to accomplish its goals — it's a necessary mechanism
that keeps it Good. Evil never doubts itself, its motives or
its methods. It deludes itself, or lets itself be easily deluded
by others, that it is always in the right, and that whatever
action it chooses to take can be justified by its goals or its
ideology. It is always convinced that what it does is Good. Of
course, it usually redefines 'Good' to mean whatever it wants."
My opinion of Donald Trump has worsened over the last week.

That's not a law or anything, it's just what the people running the debates came up with as an excuse for why only Clinton and Trump were allowed in. If Johnson and Stein suddenly started polling 16% each, they just change it to 20%. The only way for anyone else to get in is if one of the officially approved candidates lets them in. I'm only aware of that happening once, when Jesse Ventura was allowed to participate in the Minnesota governor debates when one of the ruling party candidates (I think it was the Democrat) was stupid and overconfident enough to invite him in. That unsurprisingly resulted in Ventura winning the election.
I doubt Clinton is stupid enough to make the same mistake, and while Trump might well be unaware of why it would be bad for him, he's also far to narcissistic to let anyone else on the stage if he can help it.

Ord, actually it does depend on whether or not he has legally separated his business and personal finances. When you are a small business just getting started it makes sense to separate them because if the business gets sued you could loose everything. But when you are as rich as Trump has become its kind of a toss up as to which is better. That said, when your dealing with a multinational company like Trump International, losing a billion over the course of a year's business hurts, but isn't deadly.

Now, how about Hillary's state department losing 6 Billion in the course of a year, thats a question i would like to hear the answer to.
Here's the fact check

Quote:The $6 billion was not lost or misplaced; it’s that $6 billion in contracts had missing paperwork. On top of that, the majority of contracts with missing or incomplete paperwork stemmed from the Bush administration, before Clinton became secretary of state. So it’s ridiculous to claim Clinton was in anyway responsible for the problems with the contracts.
The only thing “lost” in Trump’s statement is reality.
Does Trump's campaign do any fact checking?
Edit: About 3 weeks left into voting and if Trump has a path to getting 270 electoral votes, I'd like to hear it. And how likely is it.

Well, now, HERE's an endorsement....
Vladimir Zhirinovskiy says a vote for Trump is a vote to avoid nuclear war.  Ummm, y'know, Vlad, that sounds kinda like a threat, doncha think?
Zhirinovskiy has said Russia should take Alaska back from the U.S. by force.  And if Wikipedia is to be believed (always questionable, but this does match with what I know of the whackjob), in 2000 and 2008 presidential elections, he promised Russia a "police state" and summary executions.  "A BBC documentary from 1995 showed Zhirinovsky telling the crowd at a campaign rally:  'Help us, and you'll never have to vote again!  I'm not saying, "Vote for us and maybe in 20 years' time somebody will do something."  No, these will be the last elections! The last ones!'"

Considering that one dictionary definition of "carry on" is to "behave or speak in a foolish, excited, or improper manner," the designers of that famous poster, "Keep Calm and Carry On," need to make up their flippin' minds!
