www.fanficauthors.net for SoB.
On a related note, they've invited Ruskbyte to the crew over there. He hasn't finished uploading his works yet (Backwards Compatible isn't there yet, for example), but just FYI.--

Well, actually I meant a direct link to the chapter, or failing that the story's home. I'm finding them damned useful recently.

Kick-ass chapter. I thought the characterization of a... certain person... was excellent. It's almost disgustingly cool that he showed up, there. I like the nickname he came up with for her, too. Has a certain symmetry with his nickname for a ...certain other person. Which reminds me: I wonder if she'll be showing up at all? Or even... that certain crazy, evil war guy. Or any of the other people in the story that certain person belongs too. I think we can be reasonably assured that certain person's boss will be showing up, at least.
Voldemort is in so much trouble if that organization takes notice of him. I seriously doubt that certain person would so much as blink at an Avada Kedavra and other methods of killing him... well, they don't work too hot, one might say. In light of this, Voldemort is either some bigger bad's finger puppet or he has something pretty serious up his sleeve.
Or he just doesn't know how much trouble he could come to be in if he tries to conquer England and will end up in a world of hurt for his ignorance. -----------------

I checked this story out earlier this morning. It's a bit too much "tell" instead of "show" at times, but the idea -- and the execution -- is interesting.

... I've finally read the new chapter of this, and I'm thinking that it might have jumped the shark. The author's problems with homophones and syntax have finally overwhelmed the story for me, and the plot was just wandering as far as I was concerned. I was finding it hard to keep my attention on it. I think I'll give him another chapter or so to rehook me, but at the moment it looks like this has started sliding downhill.
