New "Hellblazer: Hogwart's"!
New "Hellblazer: Hogwart's"!

It's not an entire chapter, but Camwyn's been inspired and is writing again. Here are the pieces she's recently made available, in proper order:

And I will just say this: Constantine meets Harry.

I was just bitching and moaning, and whining, to an acquaintance that this thing's been on hiatus for so long.
Ergo: I need to do more bitching and moaning, and whining. It seems to help.

Mmm. So I wonder how he's going to handle it, now... but I think we'll be filing him with Doug under the "Rename the course 'Offense Against The Dark Arts'" category... [Image: wink.gif] --

Okay, so when should we start doing "Thibor, Doug, and Constantine Teach DADA", Shayne?

Hmm. I need to dig up the scenelet I wrote of Buffy teaching the course, and Harry groaning as he looks at the textbook -- 'US Marine Corps Combat Infantryman's Handbook'.... it begs to be expanded upon.--

For the record, BTW, in the HP bit for God's Toy, Paradox *does not* teach DADA. That cliche is right out.
Of course, he *does* get roped into teaching math, physics, chemistry....and sex ed.--

It is a bit cliche - I did write a few scenes featuring a Muggle hired to teach Muggle Studies, basing the start off John's little sideline in Hellblazer Hogwarts.
----------------------------------------------------
"How many people do you think Voldemort killed?" he asked quietly. "Hundreds? Probably. Thousands? Possibly. If you include those killed by his Death Eaters, certainly thousands." The blond teacher sighed. "That's nothing. Petty. Almost irrelevant. And he was the worst wizard ever to live, the most evil? He was a small-timer. Diet-Evil, just one calorie - not evil enough."
Michael thumbed a switch in his pocket and a small projector cast an image up on the wall. It was a man with a very small black mustache, wearing a muggle costume. "If you asked most muggles who the most evil man ever to live was, they'd probably pick this fellow. He lived about the same time as Grindelwald. He and his minions killed millions of people and for no better reason than Voldemort had. He started a war that killed off something like forty million people. Towards the end of that war entire cities were being blasted apart by weapons that make any spell Voldemort used look like firecrackers."

The running joke for the GT story, other than the muttered epithet "Teenagers", is Paradox's wild rants, including such subjects as:
"Tradition has its place and all, but honestly people, isn't it time you discovered the pen?"
"Who names you people, anyway?" - Including the suggested new name for Draco Malfoy, 'Evil McNastyface'
"What's-His-Nose is a cartoon villian." (And the accompanying "Who wants to be known as a Death Eater, anyway? Sounds like they're necrophiliacs.")
"How can you call yourselves British and not know Monty Python?" (Closely followed by "Monty Python is not a Slytherin Dark Lord, you ignorant twits.")
"I can't believe I just told a bunch of 16-year-olds it's okay to have sex."

This one isn't on your site yet, is it, Chris? Because it certainly doesn't sound familiar. Not to mention it sounds hilarious, and I'm sure I'd remember that.
Jailbait? Did you have any particular cast member in mind?

No, I've only plotted it out. I'm working on it here and there, though.
As for a specific cast member, not really. Another plot point is to set up something that makes Harry and Paradox 'attractive' to 6th & 7th years for a reason their can control and/or particularly want, nor that they would be normally.
Harry's part of that may feature in an unofficial event called "The Great Potter Hunt".--

One of the parts in HBP that I found amusing was the rise of Ranma Syndrom at Hogwarts. When the "Hunt" is on, somebody should tell Harry that he's going to have to hide at the bottom of a peet bog until this thing blows over.---------------

Nope, I've actually rather consistently missed it, and I haven't gotten a copy off the net yet. What, have they completely given up on making Emma Watson anything approaching plain?

How odd you both say that, for apparently Daniel Radcliffe (actor who plays Harry Potter) has apparently been spotted at a local prestigous public boys school by a student from the nearby girls school, who shortly there afterward mobilised a mob from that school for their own private 'Potter hunt'.
