Crossovers that should not be V: Welcome to the Damnation...

I was thinking the exact same thing... It's practically a macho guy's version of Sailor Moon. (Or vice versa...)

I thought that was He-Man.

Or come to think of it, let's quote TV Tropes:

Quote:The usual Magical Girl story has an Ordinary High School Student suddenly met a Mysterious Protector and a Mentor, one of which will give them a magical device that allows them to instantly change into fabulous new clothes! Cool! Oh, and it will also make them stronger. Somehow. Anyway, with these sexy clothes, the hero makes friends instantly and fight The Heartless who are always interested in the souls of their hometown, while never actually killing anyone, but instead magically healing them of their meanness. And you always know this team is stronger by an upgrade of their outfits' sexiness. Wait...

Wow. This must be more common than I thought.

The most recent chapter of Partially Kissed Hero ( www.fanfiction.net/s/4240771/29/ ) has Luna holding an
extended conversation with her grandmother, Alice in Wonderland. Too weird for words, but it explains a lot about Luna's behavior.

any crossovers on the list below probably should not be.

Although Enterprise/SDF-1 does sound kinda.. no bad thoughts, bad thoughts.

Not exactly a crossover per se, but it is a genre trope well-loved by folks here. So, um.. yeah. I make no apologies for finding this.

wow, it's funny cause it's true.
Though I would expect there would be a marked decrease in the amount of vitriol in OTP discussions as the most rabid of fans quickly got themselves killed off by trying to do just that.

just a quick thought...

What if Prince Adam is actually dead?

What if the sword really is Greyskull?

What if He-Man is Shikai?

From the negima manga (which I don't actually read, but I saw a page and thought...)

If Fate is attacking Negi what is nanoha doing?

The Earth is threatened by an alliance of aliens, all bent on conquest.

The proud soldiers of the Roxolani Empire.

The devious and cunning Zim of the Irkenian Empire.

The elite soldiers of the Kero Gunsou.

Will this alliance last, as the different objectives and personalities involved conflict?

What difference would it make?

Quote:A short and rather crack-y LOTR crossover; I don't want to spoil the surprise with anything more:
Knight Errant by JA Baker.
Don't read further if you don't want spoilers.
I read the last line of that story, thought about it for a second, and realized Dinochrome is akin to metal dinosaur.  And who's the most famous metal dinosaur?

The worst part is that their is a (season 2 or 3 of the original Transformers cartoon) episode in which Grimlock randomly ends up on a medieval world and
literally plays dragon minion of a wizard for a while. I think at some point the wizard turns out to be ecil and Grimlock dethrones him... but if Grimlock
makes the intelligence check and decides that Orks (of LoTR) are just less rational sharkicon equivalent and at some point Griimlock takes his turn trying to
break the One ring and slags it.

On the other hand... if it was as stated it would be the first campaign I've heard of where the PCs actively try to get down to negative HP just so they
can roll for the 'So you almost died' power ups. After a while you'd have to have fights with multiple Genius Loci (Living, sentient planets)...
and that would just get crazy.

Something I just posted over on Usenet...
A review of the Utena movie in rec.arts.anime.misc sparked off a discussion of the Utena movie in r.a.a.m. That's all the context you need for this...

Keiichi calls a wrong number and gets a special visitor, in "Ah My
Dalek!" The anime about nothing: "Azumanga Dalek." Bounty hunters keep
on killing their targets instead of turning them in for the reward, in
"Dalek Bebop." The kiddies learn what's *really* important in "Bottle
Daleks."

Wouldn't that just be soft core furry fetish porn?

That depends on which Black Lagoon is the one being discussed.

For that matter: Black Lagoon/Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Harry Potter and the Half-BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

"That will be five points from Gryffindor, Mr. Potter. Apparently, possesion by a demon in service to a blood drenched war god of Chaos did your
intellect no favors. The answer was not, as you so eloquently put it 'Why aren't we killing yet?' The correct response was,
'Present.'"
