Warning if you like a good mystery don't look at the author's description he gives just a little to much away and it takes away something from the first 3 to 5 chapters. I spent most of my free time this weekend reading the posted 15 chapters. (Yes it reveals the mystery within the currently posted chapters also the end is in sight, given the way the 15 completed chapters flowed I don't think it will go beyond 20 chapters.

This is a Buffy the vampire slayer fanfic and yet another Halloween version to boot. It's short, but significantly different from most other such fanfic. yesilimavi there is currently no link for the HTML page with all the fic links, counting geocities the last 3 sites I had hosting it shutdown and I've been slowly looking for another free host. Since Unlimited Blade Works is floating around sansub-land, I got to looking at Fate Stay/Night crossovers, and found this one.
(if it's a repeat recommendation, then a) I missed it, and b) it's that good)

Instead of summoning a fictional samurai, Caster summons a fictional wizard in the role as "assassain": Harry Potter. Rather Castor summoned a second castor heroic spirit (breaking the rules, but that 's what Castor is good at)  As silly as this sounds, it works. (He doesn't even bother trying to hide his identity when he has so many fans.

A bit of a quote here (Harry's using a Charm on himself to be hidden)

Huddled against the wall and trying to keep warm as he ate his lunch was Emiya Shirou, seated suspiciously close to the female Master of the Servant Archer.
"I still don't believe it,"
Or maybe they had finished lunch already, as they were deeply rooted in conversation.

"I know what you mean," Shirou replied, frowning slightly. "But Saber wouldn't lie and you said Archer told you the same thing, so..."

"But it doesn't make any sense!" Rin snapped in irritation, her usual composure absent. "Okay, so some of the heroes summoned can't be proven to have existed, but this is completely different. Everyone knows that he isn't real. There isn't hundreds or thousands of years obscuring that fact!"

Harry blinked, surprised to hear that they were talking about him of all things.

"Tohsaka..." Shirou muttered softly.

"And two Casters'? How the hell did that witch even pull that off?"

She stood, ignoring the way her hair whipped wildly around her head. Pacing in front of the obviously startled boy, words continued to pour from her mouth in an uncharacteristic display of complete bewilderment and indignant disbelief.

"And another thing I don't understand is why she would summon someone as useless as him!" Harry frowned, no longer amused at her odd display. He was now annoyed at the pretty magus. "Out of all the heroes she could have picked, real or fake... she must be brain damaged."

"Tohsaka, are you okay?" Shirou asked worriedly.

"I'm fine Emiya-kun." she replied quickly, dismissing his concern about her sudden mood swing.

"Not a fan of Harry Potter then, eh?" he asked jokingly, his weak chuckles tampering off as she pinned him with a dangerous look.

"Of course you wouldn't understand," she mused aloud, no longer glaring a hole through Shirou's chest. "You are a second-rate magus, after all – a second-rate hero waving a silly little wand would impress you, wouldn't it Emiya-kun?"

Harry had heard enough.

Flip, Flop, and Fly
Thanks to a convoluted series of events, Itachi was sent to "our" world as a baby.  17 years later, Itachi is comfortable life as an agent of the FBI is disrupted when is birth family finally manages to track him down.  Recently updated after a long Hiatus.
It's not a work of genius, but it's fairly well done and quite funny.  A few characters have radically different personalities from canon, but the characterization in story remains good overall.  The story also does a good job of showing how absurdly brilliant Itachi is without ruining the story.

Saying Itachi's an FBI agent is really a bit vague; he's a member of the BAU from the show Criminal Minds. And given the setup he really seems almost like an original character.. but he's an interesting one.
