Any thoughts on what either of these two (three) songs would do for Doug?? (The third is from last Saturday's episode, so spoiler warning)Original:

Mm. Let me get back to you on that, although I must admit the first two resonate for me...
(BTW, I got curious and checked the cast list for MLP on IMDB. Wow. That's a heckuva cast. And finding that Shampoo's voice actress does that little lizard/dragon thing... heh.

Upon further reflection, I think the third song would be more appropriate for Mary Melodies than Doug.
And yeah, the cast is great. I'm still slightly amazed that they got John de Lancie, and it's been months.

Fallout: Equestria: Project Horizons has updated.. kinda. Chapter one got a complete re-write, adjusting some of the backstory, and unfortunately, reducing the hate-level of Deus a wee bit.

A much warmer reception than what you got on EQD. Phoo on them anyhow. As I said before, a little too much grimdark lurking around there for my liking.

I'm going to wait and see if a not-so-inoccuous comment I got yesterday results in some fanart. And spend the week doing cleanup on any more typo errors anyone spots. Then I'll throw the story back at EQD, and let the fan response and ratings provide... Added Pressure.Welcome to GP Aerospace Academy.  I will be your instructor.

them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.''

Some links via Equestria Daily. A guy on Deviant art made Starcraft 2 style interactive portraits of some of the cast.http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/12/i ... taits.html
clicking on the portrait triggers various quotes, much like in the actual games. One of Applejack's involved a fly and was hilarious.
Also, new chapter of Dresden Fillies

Awesome chapter. Because EQDaily tagged it with Shipping I thought that there was going to be some kind of romance between Spike and Luna, but now with Huffy (who is adorable and not at all what I expected) I'm not so sure.

Speaking of drunk ponies, http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/09/s ... gover.html]My Little Hangover is complete. (EQDaily, GDocs) I don't think it's been recced here, so have a synopsis.
Mousetrap Wrote:It's Twilight Sparkle's 18th birthday, and in time-honored pony tradition her friends have dragged her to Las Haygas, the world-renowned City of Lights. They promise to give her a night she'll never forget. And with the lights, the glamor, and a few shots of Liquid Rainboom, it seems they're poised to deliver just that.
But when Twilight wakes up to a destroyed hotel room, a hangover so painful it leaves her unable to do magic, a missing pony, and a slew of unanswered questions, she is forced to wonder: did they party too hard? Now, the five ponies must clean up their mess by piecing together a night that none of them can remember, all the while searching for a friend that could already be halfway across the desert...

It's a lesson they'll have to learn the hard way. Some ponies just can't handle Haygas.

		"Las Haygas"?
Why does that remind me of something else? Oh, yes – a Crossover That Should Not Be.

We were somewhere around Barnstow on the edge of the desert when the Rainboom began to take hold. I remember saying something like "I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should pull..." And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge pegasi, all swooping and screeching and diving around the cart, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Las Haygas.

Fear and Loathing in Las Haygas

She seems rather excited about this.

I think the term you're looking for is "orgasmic", not "excited"...
