Rule 63 Special with Applejack? Sorry, AJ, but I just don't swing that way.

The 11th of the month has been inexplicably skipped.  I can honestly say I have never been more glad.

Also I now have all of season 1 on DVD yay!
Plus I found another three pony collection of the 'blind bags' so now I have Zecora, one of the spa pony sisters & a second Pinky Pie. Still don't have a Fluttershy from that release, nor the rest of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. But, then if the CMC's were available, they must come with tree sap (maple syrup) & Richardson would be getting pelted by thrown Scooterloos....

Please spoiler tag your posts. I stopped reading after the first line, but still saw some of the description anyway, and couldn't stop myself from comprehending it. So, thanks.

Sharing the night has a new chapter, with some very scary implications about ursa majors/minors.

Hey DS, any chance you could change that giant comic to a link? It crashes my browser whenever I try to open this page on my ipod.

Opera Mobile doesn't crash, but I've set it to load lower-resolution versions of excessively large images, so it's just a collection of blurry blobs of colour.

Thought experiment.

My Little Pony is hate speech against Discordians.

Anyone know of any Discordians in Canada willing to file a complaint with the government? Or any other polity whose laws have suitable exploits? Or any jerks who like filing dubious legal complaints?

Serious attempt or a dada-ist attempt to skewer the concept?

I'm reasonably sure the suit would be thrown out. Even if Discordianism was acknowledged to be religious in nature (as opposed to political or academic), Discord the character fails to map to Discordian ideals or beliefs. Celestia is more Discordian than Discord: he had to brainwash the Elements, but she had Twi doing Discord's work by merely neglecting to mention that she didn't need a report every week. And Gala Ticket == Golden Apple.

Also, Celestia has a Golden Apple tree.

Anyway, I'd like to rec the fic Predictions and Prophecies.  Very basic summary of the plot so far: Twilight discovers a very dire prophecy, and begins panicking.

Someone needs to get that mare a copy of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

The Dresden Fillies: False Masks has updated.

Also, how about that new episode?  It certainly was a thing.  (Not saying any details here, or opinions, for fear of spoiling someone that has not yet seen the new episode.)

Pfeh. Lackluster ending, but at least one of the fan worries about the episode didn't come to pass.

I'm assuming you are talking about the recent cartoon episode featuring Discord.  For a better take on a similar theme, largely because it is a long fic instead of being stuffed into a half-hour TV episode, I direct you to the recently completed A Dream of Dawn.
PS: Which fan worries?

No, I don't believe the world has gone mad.  In order for it to go mad it would need to have been sane at some point.

That Discord would have wound up being Starswirl the Bearded.
