How's that doing? I sort of burned out on it a while back around Pinkie's party showdown with her darker counterpart. It's well written but it keeps going and going, the setting keeps geting further and further from the Equestria I fell in love with, and while things keep happening it didn't feel like it was actualy making any sort of progress.

No, I don't believe the world has gone mad. In order for it to go mad it would need to have been sane at some point.

Just a few chapters left, going by what Cap'n Chryssalid has said on SB. It is building up towards the climax at a good pace now, and everything is starting to come together (or apart, depending how you look at it.)

I would like to recommend the utterly hilarious fic Children of a Lesser Dragon God Boy Whelp Thingy Guy. The synopsis given is
Quote:When Spike asked Twilight to help him create The Noble Dragon Code, he hoped a lot of things would happen.
Getting worshipped as a god by legions of theologically-inclined dragons wasn't really one of them but, hey, whattcha gonna do? Them's the breaks, kiddo.
and it appears to be inspired by Life of Brian.

I don't know why my mind's circling a plot starter idea of Subzero, Black Caviar & Makybe Diva walk into Donut Joes, Canterlot/Sugar Cube Corner, Ponyville with any members of the Mane 6 and/or Princesses present. Also the local Build a Bear 'workshop's' only have Pinkie Pie in stock......no I did not enter it, you could see their wall of base starters from outside. I was surprised they have Sponge bob stuff.

Sometimes she's the perfect party hostess... sometimes she's a chainsaw-wielding maniac... But she's always Cutie Mark Honey!

Very limited theatres, just so that it can TRY to get in on the animation Oscars. (HA!)
This movie is the REAL reason Season 3 was only 13 episodes. Hasbro wanted a "teen fashion" doll line to fight against Mattel's "Monster High" and all their good options were blocked by Trademark Grabs that would make it difficult for the big H to compete directly.
I'm hoping that the studio actually pulled it off instead of the horror their marketing people make me think it will be....
