The RPG.net crowd is making an RPG setting out of it actually. And there are other sequels, too.

		Fragmentation A BT story

		10-17-2008, 08:12 AM

Unless you have played Battletech or Mechwarrior and have an interest in the merc intrigue part of that RPG universe then "Fragmentation " might not interest you, but if you do like those portions
of the BT universe then the first chapter of this story looks to be a good start.

This one started well, but I lost interest a few chapters in. The two sides of the cross over end up as bosom buddies much too quickly, considering that one
side has a history of staying alive thanks to judicious paranoia and the other side sees making contact at all as a moral grey area.

I can't quite decide if I like this or not. On the one hand, it's kind of tedious. On the other hand, I don't think I've seen an SI implementation quite like this before, and the occasional "god-I'm-so-screwed-by-the-universe-at-large" moments "Neville" suffers every chapter or two can be pretty amusing. I'm curious what other folks get from it.

If not for some clunky prose and some really weird plot holes, I'd say it was the best crackfics I've ever read.

		Jedi Granger

		11-07-2008, 07:59 PM

Jedi Granger is a crossover of Starwars,
Harry Potter and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Xander uses something he shouldn't have and it snowballs from there. The Story starts out more as a comedy, but
is slowly turning serious.

Now this is a good, fun story. I'm hoping he does as his reviewers ask and writes a sequel to it.
