		Blonds Have More Fun
The ever popular time travel take on Naruto... with Ino taking centre stage.
D for Drakensis

You're only young once, but immaturity is forever.

Um.. drakensis... we know. Its got a update listed on the first post of the 16th page of the 8th update thread and its not the first one.
If you find one with multiple people going back in time from different timelines and a confused, but happy or better kinda of confused and/or paniked Naruto
getting very popular with the (time traveling girls that don't actually know about each other yet) village girl's feel free to tell. Bonus points if
Naruto thinks its either because he painted the monument or got genin in a make up test.

I would sooo read that fic!

On a related time travel note, I've yet to see a Harry Potter fic where an adult Ron Weasley travels back in time on his own to fix things. It would be
interesting to have a post-git Ron being the mature one of the group.

On the time travel concept, here's a somewhat original take, although he does the reveal WAY too quick IMO:http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4830410/1/Afterthoughts (Naruto)

Seconding "No Tendo". There are moments of pure awesome in that fic, although it's currently feeling a little slow, probably because of updatespeed.

I'd easily second or third or Nth it. I just like to think of it as what happens when those writers stop putting all that effort into turning Akane Tendointo a defective, trigger happy chatroom banbot and actually write the story. It also has the commentary features actually working properly for that thread.
kind of sad that simplely avoiding one character (or at least the bad fanon version so many people have a huge anti'fetish for) leaves to one of the most
 consistently good threads there.

Also, I agree with jpub there... Afterthoughts definitely is WAY to fast to unfold. Though it is what appears to be a interesting 'time travel' method
 though.

I can't seem to figure out where I came across a pointer to this fic, so if it was somewhere else on the boards, sorry for stepping on whoever's post it was:Forced Maturity by pseudonym: Everything between the start of Chamber of Secrets and the end of Deathly Hallows was a prophetic dream sent to Harry Potter by the concerned spirits of his parents during the summer after his first year. Although afterwards Harry only dimly remembers the dream at best, he awakens from it with the spell repetoire of an advanced sixth-year student and the maturity of someone almost 20 years old -- and his reactions to certain people and things are much altered. Even without explicit foreknowledge, things change...

Found this one via the TV Tropes Wiki and its fic recommendation section:CSI: Death by Chocolate by Beth Einspanier. A CSI/Willy Wonka (Depp version) crossover. I kid you not. And it's good .

		The Ten Doctors
A fic in webcomic form in which the author juggles ten incarnations of the doctor, over two dozen companions (including three different K9s) and just about
every serious foe the doctor has ever faced (including, but not limited to the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Master, the Rani, Omega, the Celestial Toymaker, the
Silurians, the Sontarians, the Valeyard, the Meddling Monk and the Galifreyian bureaucracy) - and hasn't dropped the ball once that I've seen.

		www.fanfiction.net/s/4589660/1/No_Strings_Attached
No Strings Attached, a Naruto as Puppeteer fic where he doesn't instantly become uber-powerful. Five chapters have been released over the last
four months and this is already the best fic in the genre that I've seen.

		Left4dead fic,
Sometimes I love the game, sometimes it doesn't like me much though.

But sometimes you wonder what fills in the vague spaces that they left deliberately.

This looks to be a fairly passable attempt so far:
Just like the movies.

He's started another one? There's got to be a name for that. What do you call it when a writer keeps starting one story after another, but never finishes any?

Dark Pheonix Syndrome? Author from over a decade ago infamous for starting a new Ranma story with pretty good ideas then abandoning it after 1-5 chapters tostart another.

I think Carrotglace just likes to make Dead Fic and deserves one of these .

I don't think that is truly a fair evaluation. For instance, in 'Insertion' he could have stopped at least 3 or 4 times at plot cliff hangerpoints and time skips. Then renamed the next section and called it a new fic each time, 'Gaijin' is the same way.. and 'A matter of force',
and pretty much any of his stuff over 8-10 chapters. Lots and lots of writers of fanfiction Epic length stuff... then chop it up into smaller bits and call it
a new story. I'd say he does have plenty of finished ones (minus one shots) and they just aren't formatted as such. I've noticed this for
years... Carrotglace regularly writes chapters that are longer than 5-10 'chapters' of fics people do finish. I'll agree that he has lots of
unfinished, dead, or stalled fics... but saying he doesn't finish anything isn't really true.

		Agree with Necratoid.
And in some cases its better for such a multiple arc story to be separated and some cases where i feel that it should be better in one 'long' fic.

Personally I'd rather have longer 'good' fics (without cliffhangers waiting for an update).

And an author starting new stories(in fandoms i follow) is also something i like. Since a writers quality of writing improves in most cases.

So an occasional new story gives breaking points to follow a writers works. As well as exploring some ideas of a fandom in a hopefully new way.

Third Time's The Charm by reighost. The fight against Galaxia didn't go well, so Usagi falls back on a tried-and-true tactic -- she uses the Ginzuisho to send herself back in time.

Only she overshoots by about two years.

And wakes up, 14 years old, on the day she should have met Luna and discovered her destiny. By the time she's figured this out, though, Luna's already helping someone else discover a previously unsuspected destiny and Usagi must go it alone.

Only seven chapters so far, but definitely a live fic. And very well done.
