The S9 are a fine candidate for self defense even if they didn't have a kill order. Self defense with sniper rifle and a mortar if you can't scare up anything larger.

There was a crossover of sorts I saw a couple of months ago on YouTube, matching the visuals from one OP to the music from another, and the thing's creator himself said it shouldn't work.  But it was glorious.  Unfortunately, it was also taken down only about a week after I saw it, or I'd post a link to it here.
