Her partner is probably from the most obscure crossover I have ever used. His parents were from this series...

The only Alison (with one L) Mundy I can find comes from a British TV series that seems to be the UK counterpart to The Ghost Whisperer, which is clearly wrong. And looking up her father Allan doesn't lead me anywhere. Someone clue me in, please?

Her father is Al Mundy, from the 70s Era show /it takes a thief/... Her grandfather is played by none other than twinkle toes himself, Fred Astair

The only Mundy I was coming up with was Adele Mundy from David Drake's RCN space opera series.  She's a spy, (and deadly with her pistol) but it's a) faaaaar in the future and b) far from Earth, and c) Adele is mostly asexual, (plus the first name is wrong) so I knew I was thinking of the wrong source.
edit: and 2 more chapters of Assassins - Spieshttp://www.tthfanfic.org/Story-31070-25 ... +Spies.htm

That's it exactly Zojojojo. Christopher Carter-Johnson is the son of Spice Carter and Geronimo Johnson from that link I posted earlier: Christopher Cool - Agent of TEEN.

Hey Bat? the second and third lines of chapter 28 seems to have some errors in it
Quote:We ended up back at the hotel and immediately rinsed off the dive gear
and the wet suits in the shower. I had just finished in the other
bathroom and Chris was hopping in when there was a knock at the door. I
grabbed the and I was hopping in when there was a knock at the door.

True, it just seemed faster that day since I had missed the second update of the previous day.

The last chapter is a temp because I forgot that I was going to put the pictures in. They are appended to the last chapter of 'Spies' as well. Rinkin's picture is on the last Chapter of 'Assassins'.

Poor Stew. Luckily the SRI is good at improvising and overwhelming logistical support.

It sure as hell makes it harder when you have no idea what's going on though.

This story was written as a counterpoint to Diane's Hermione one. What about the non-superagents? The mooks who get gunned down by the score in Bond films? That' why this one was set up with the protagonists in the first two parts being super-agents and the protag in the third part sort of completely overwhelmed at what he's fallen into.

He really does have the frantic plate spinning feel to it that the other two were missing. The thing is, it feels like Stew is willing to escalate in ways that Rinkin and Al won't by default too. They do things surgically, and expect things to happen surgically. Even their overwhelming support on either side rarely takes out more than a building.

Stew feels like he's got a checklist in the back of his mind for when things call for removing a town and if it gets that far, well, then maybe it's better to lose the town. He'd rather not though, the paperwork is terrible.

And really, it's not like chess where pawn promotions happen under only set and careful conditions. If you can convince enough people that you're a super agent, and you fail to die like a classic mook, well, then I guess you've been promoted.
No matter how much you're scrambling and improvising in the background.

It's a name of Irish origin as is the last name. Why no, I would never choose a name for a reason now would I?

And here's chapter 45 of Assassins - Spies - Soldiers (if there's a 4th part I'm gonna have to anacronym-ize the title)http://www.tthfanfic.org/Story-31070-45 ... ldiers.htm

There is a fourth part planned and you can actually delete everything on the link after the slash before 'batzulger' (i.e. make it http://www.tthfanfic.org/Story-31070-45/ ) to make it less unwieldy.

Where Stew gets his 'official' briefing from a Culper grad.

Cody's last name wouldn't be Banks would it? Just out of curiosity.

i'm more curious if "socrates" ever had an eiger sanction....

playing "spot the name drop" is almost as much fun as "name that tune" Smile

Oh absolutely on the Eiger Sanction (and the Loo Sanction). All the Tera-verse stories are loaded with name drops like that. And yes it's Cody Banks written as if he was from a LeCarre novel.

Rin might have inherited the code for a certain door, but Stew knows how to use a pickaxe.

Not that there's anything potentially symbolic about that at all.
