We've replaced Chell with Yakumo Yukari.  Because although not only their names and appearances, but also their personalities are nothing alike ... Yukari ALWAYS thinks with Portals....

While in pursuit of the Jewel Seeds, Yuuno Scrya falls into the company of the greatest Action Archaeologist on Earth (in this generation, at least), and-- what? No, not Indiana Jones. No, not Lara Croft, either. No, I'm talking about Seta Noriyasu. Which puts Yuuno in Hinata-Sou and hooked up with people for whom the ensuing violenece and Chaos is just another Tuesday.

(Fate gets adopted by the Hinata Girls. Oy Vey....)

I dunno if this is a Should Not Be or a Should Be.... so I'm playing it safe.

Peggy's been binge-watching Body of Proof, an ABC series from a couple years back, on Hulu. Said series is about a former neurosurgeon, played by Dana Delany, who is in an accident and gets nerve damage that causes her hands to intermittently go numb, effectively ending her career as a surgeon. In the series she becomes a medical examiner.

But, in discussing the teaser trailer for Doctor Strange with Peggy while she had the show paused a few minutes ago, I realized you could slot Delany's Megan Hunt right into Stephen Strange's origin story without missing a beat...

We're here at the Folgers fanfiction kitchens, where we've replaced Mugi from K-On! with Mughi from Dirty Pair...

It's going to take them years to get back to the surface... Voyager to the Bottom of the Sea

You really don't want to meet the new neighbors: Aliens Nation

It's British. We're not going to understand it: Doctor Who in the House

I think Bob did something like this in GURPS Shapeshifters: I Was a Teenage Airwolf

Can't come up with a silly tag for this one: Honey, I Shrunk the Karate Kid

Brought to my mind by the latest Glory Hound teaser:
No way this'll be secret, but the carnage and panic should be loads of fun -- we've replaced Buffy Summers, the Vampire Slayer, with Gotrek Gurnisson, the Troll / Skaven / Daemon / Dragon / Beastman / Vampire / Giant / Orc / Elf ... oh the Hell with the full list ... SLAYER.  If Gotrek isn't a "Godslayer," it's simply 'cause none of them have been stupid enough to come within range of him.  He's not nearly as visually decorative as Buffy, either.

Heh. Visually decorated maybe, with all those tattoos. And Felix and Xander will have a fine time comparing horror stories.

Waterloo Down

Your choice if it's about Napoleon or ABBA. Or both. As rabbits.

What, just the one?

During the Battle of Mogadishu, a Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk and the four people aboard is swept back in time to June 1815, where they are transformed into rabbits and need to perform 1970s Swedish pop-rock music to turn human again and get back home...

Ohhhh, thanks, Jinx, now I'm getting visions of Alex Karras punching out ... some large critter from Westeros (it can't be a dragon; Doug would sue)....

Yeah, I sort of figured that -- but grousing about the possibility of getting sued is more in keeping with my jaundiced worldview.

Considering where Hodor and company are hanging out, maybe a White Walker-ized bear or mammoth or something.
