That's a nice house.
Chibinekomimi squad kawaii!
So the good news is, Lacan's on site to give the bigwigs the real story. The bad news is... well... it's Lacan.

Mm. Translation's a little clumsy on that issue, isn't it? Several verb-noun agreements that were off, and some of the phrasing just doesn't sound
like a native English speaker. Evangeline's got a "big money prize" on her head?

Yeah, the Aquastar version really can't come soon enough for this one.

Better translation this time. And
more of Lacan's questionable combat statistics.
Jack Rakan. Friend? Enemy? There's no real difference with him...

... Springfield Trophy? Heh.
Competitors named Talibun and Jazeera. Watch Del Rey rename them in a hurry... o.O
...Jack Rakan: OVER TWELVE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!
HOLY CRAP IT'S EVANGELINE. OMGWTFBBQ?!

Looks like we're not going to get any answers to certain burning questions just yet ... and maybe not for a good long while.

Actually, it has answered one burning question, sort of. We now know that Negi doesn't know who his mother was,
something that had hardly been touched upon until now.
And I love how they refer to Rakan as a "real-life broken character." He could probably take Thundergod Cid down in a turn or two...

at Onemanga as usual.
...Negi is looking more Super Saiyajin than usual...
Oh they did NOT just brag about audience safety. Gonna lose their premiums, wait and see.
OMGWTFPACTIO.
And we still don't know what the deal is with "Fake Evangeline," unless I missed something. But that burning question you mentioned? We might
get the answer sooner than we thought.

Let the slugfest of
the millennium commence!
CCCCXCVI? Is that what the card's number is? And since when is that a valid Roman numeral? What is it... 496?
And his artifact is... a wallet? A notebook? A Death Note perchance? o.O
Jack's stress-testing the stadium safeties already and the match has just started.
...Negi is wielding the ENSIS EXCORSIZANS?! But... Asuna's not... so her
card shouldn't be... BWAH?
...Oh. OOOOH. That thing is the ARTIFACT OF DOOM. Me LIKEY.

On today's
episode of Bokusatsu Sensei Negi-bozu...
I think we're at SSJ2 now.
The fight between Kotaro and Kagetaro is purely incidental at this point...
"My name is Negi Springfield. And I am the Flash."
Huh, haven't seen Kotaro's full transformation since... volume 5?
And... didn't see that coming. My, won't the other girls be surprised.

And they have a new "prime rebuilder editor", so the pace of their scanlations might be a bit faster... but they're still looking for volunteers.

The Censor Steam has
been getting thinner lately. I'm in need of a nosebleed emoticon
Jack = Maito Gai. This explains so much that it borders on Things Man Was Not Meant To Know. SAN checks all round!

...ouCHie. o.O; Well, it's time for another shonen turnaround, right? ...Right?

You gotta have in-combat
lectures.
Is it just me, or is Jack a lot less random and a lot smarter than we've been led to believe?
Wow, poor Ako... ;.;
Okay, now it's definitely time for Negi to get up and kick ass. I hope.

Not a new chapter, but...

Ala Alba OAD 2 has been subbed by Aquastar.
Anya's here. Take cover!
Also, it seems there's plans to continue this into the Mundus Magicus arc. Hooray!

Man, I was thinking this was going to be news about a new chapter up at OneManga. Oh, well, might as well go see --

Okay, if Negi doesn't get back up next chapter, something will have gone horribly wrong with the fabric of the shonen continuum.
But we'll have to wait two weeks to find out. Stupid research breaks...

Stand up, Negi! STAND UP!
Ooh. Bad move, Jack. (Or finely calculated to achieve that effect, I just don't know anymore.)
So not only can Negi summon the girls' artifacts, he can hand them off to others... o.O;
OWie. I call foul! No stabbing puppies!
