Sure, there are some side stories that don't have the girl, but they only flesh out Lina's sidekicks.

Maybe we can finally see the Blast Blade animated.

I wouldn't worry too much, They just basically said they didn't know anything about what the show's about. Not that Lina's actually not
going to be in the show.

Best guess is that it is going to focus on Lina and Naga since that series of books is still going on strong. Book 31 should be due out soon, if it hasn't
came out already.
