Really. Bad. Timing.

Today's the day Firefox 3 comes out. (10:00 Pacific time, apparently.) They want to set a record for most downloads in a 24-hour period.

Today is also Microsoft's monthly "Patch Tuesday." Thousands or millions of PCs will be downloading patches automatically.

Anyone else expecting network delays today?

I'm really, really glad I downloaded the last episodes of "Nadia Omake Theater" yesterday... (Yes, it's finally completely fansubbed.)

Anyone tried Firefox 3 yet? I downloaded it the other night and it seems to work beautifully. A lot faster and smoother than version 2. And with some truly
nifty features. [Image: smile.gif]

So says the article in the link. Let's not shoot the horse yet, folks.

Which, My friends, is why I never rush into a new piece of software. Like Rob, I'll give it at least a month for the hackers to find the worst of
the exploits and the dev teams to fix them before I migrate.
