very cool, but I wouldn't want to strap that to my wrists. If something goes wrong it would be very easy to lose a hand.

But at that point I guess he would have to design superior bionic hands and continue his life of crime [Image: smile.gif]

I think I know why he built it that way, but personally, I would have mounted them over the backs of my hands, with a heat shield. Possibly even built into a pair of Nomex gloves or something similar.
ETA:  I am also given to wonder just how much fuel he's carrying, and where...

I think his entire fuel supply is strapped to his forearms :S

I'm more curious about how he's controlling the flames, strapping the device above his forearms I would think makes more sense since that actually
would leave his hands free to control the device no?

He explained why he made it that way in a different video. He wanted to approximate the look of Pyro's power from the X-Men movie as closely as possible.
Flames from a device situated below the wrist look more like Pyro's power than flames fired from the back of the hand. Similarly, flameproof gloves
don't look like the barehanded fire manipulation that Pyro does, so he doesn't use any.
