Indeed. Chris is actually refering to the well known fact that even when all is lost, the one thing you DONT want to do is say "well, It cant get any
worse..." because that will inspire the universe to find a way that it CAN get worse!

Actually, I was referring to the less-well-known and frankly more frightening fact that the one who asks "who's next" ... is often next.
