It's looking pretty epic, hope they haven't KOTOR2'd it. Now, I've a week to finish ME1 and prep a Shepard for this.

I put Mercenaries 2 (played because this is absolutely
hilarious), Modern Warfare 2, and a few other games on hold to give the first one a try again. "I've got five days before the second game is available", I said. "I can get most of the way in by then", I said. Then I found out that the pirates already have both the 360 and PC versions. I'm not planning to pirate it, but it put a crimp in my 'see how far I can get before the game's available' plans to find it's available before I even started the first one... My Unitarian Jihad Name is: Brother Atom Bomb of Courteous Debate. Get yours. I've been writing a bit. 
I've heard that White Knight Chronicles has been pushed back again. I'm not expecting it anytime soon.

As far as I can tell from the major websites, White Knight is still on track for Feb 2.

@Bob It's a great series. Lots of loving homages to sci-fi tropes and famous movies and what not. Very fun. Take a look at the tvtropes page sometime. I
think the first was on sale for 5 bucks on STEAM over the holidays so... I think it's definitely worth it to try it out at 5 bucks. @Blue The official release date is Jan. 26th, so still five days. Just do the "see how far you can get before the game's officially available."

...Damnit. You, sir, have jushed provided the final incentive for me to cave in and buy this thing. Singing alien doctors FTW! How is the learning curve plot-gameplay wise for those who didn't play the first game?
Can't say, as I haven't played ME2 yet. Hasn't been officially released and I have to get the spare funds to get a copy. But supposedly they've made it easy to jump in an play if you haven't played ME1.
I REALLY recommend ME1 though. Really I do. Your experience will be SO much richer for playing that one first.

It's easy for me to resist the urge to buy the bright shiny new games, because I know my five-year-old laptop will choke on them.

Or just get an Xb0xen and play them on there. Still, postal service permitting, ME2 will be in my hands in the next 36-48 hours....leaving me only enough time to finish 1 playthrough of ME1, and to clean-up the Yomiko Readman-esc book tower collapse that's covered my bed. Shelving to rescue!!

Gametrailers video review - a 9.7! That's apparently the highest they've given this console generation. Looking at all the footage in there, it's hard to argue.
