Dragon Age: Origins

Managed to navigate getting Wynne into the group, even with Morrigan right there snarking at her. Smile
We'll see how long they can stand each other in the same party as we clear out the Circle...

I can't wait to see if I get some of their dialogue when I go and do some of the side quests from Redcliffe and the Mage's Collective. I'm probably going to need both Wynne and Morrigan to deal with one of the sides I tried before and got beaten down on. I'm hoping these will earn me enough coin to sell/buy back my Warden commander armor so I can get it upgrades. Bloody thing'll cost me over 20 sovereigns.

BTW, if anyone is curious, I ran the Pen@Paper version of DA this past weekend with Dren, ZK, Ran, and a couple of other friends and everything seemed work out just fine. The system is somewhat rules light (Can take about 20 minutes at most to get the general details of a character made [aside from things like background and personality]) and yet fun when you add in their unique stunt system. Well worth it if anyone was ever curious about the game.

One thing that annoys me on my second playthrough is how certain results in the game can only be obtained by a 'good' character if you do them in certain order.

Example: Last time I went with the mages, this time I want to go with the templars. There's a good way to do this, but the only way to get a 'good' ending for the redcliffe bit is if you do that *before* the mage tower.

Going to be some delay on further postings from my end on this thread. Namely, I'm pseudo-homeless.

Currently, I am notionally couch-surfing at @Genau'Goeg's mothers' house, while she preps her new domicile. Once she's moved in, and moved out of the current digs, we'll be moving Mister Chuckie into her previous room, and I will be moving in to Mister Chuckie's current room.

At the moment, all of my worldly possessions, including my PS3, are sitting on a tarp in the garage.

Ouch, that's not good. Not going to suffer any DA withdrawls?

I probably am, but the red mist of screaming fury kinda masks them.

I'm ordering in, next payday, a set of Logitech Z-5500 http://www.newegg.com/Pro...0-_-36-121-120-_-Product

that are going in my bedroom, and hooking up to the ps3 (via optical) and my PC

Oooo, I remember those. Used those in a "build a computer" project I had for a Help Desk class a few semesters back.

Nice speakers.

they seem like they should quite do the trick, and the price is acceptable.

I must hear Leliana and Morrigan catfighting again, I'm starting to go into withdrawls!

...Huh.  Interesting piece of DLC coming on the 18th.
Completely new scenario: play as a Darkspawn and crush Ferelden under your tainted heel!

oh wow.

That sounds interesting. Think I better get through the first gzme before diving into that one.

Maybe not.  It seems to be a short scenario, and the reward is unlocking a nifty sword for use in regular DAO and Awakening Smile
