Ranma/Tenchi Cross, Ranma gets turned into a cabbit. Interesting in that he's so far permanently a cabbit with no human form. Also, no obvious pairings. Not great literature, but it's good for some laughs and amusement.

Way Too Old School - Ron Stoppable Goes To College.

Babylon 5: Another Perspective - Jankowski and the Prometheus encounter the Minbari Grey Council Flagship. Shots are fired. A war begins. We all know this much, right? Wait, when did the humans and Minbari become allies? Who are these 'Scarrans' and who is this 'John Crichton' they keep ranting about?

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Second Chance - The Demon Emperor is dead. Long Live Lelouch.

Okay, that was awesome. (^_^)
I wonder if you can actually get a good series out of a start like that.  They did mention the whole thing about God-men and how they're supposed to guide humanity past a cataclysm of some sort.

The Key to a Successful Interview is a Good First Impression!

Ranma and Akane are, the day of the arrival at the dojo, granted a brief but pleasant first meeting and a healthy dollop of common sense.

This being the Ranmaverse, Hilarity Ensues.

Warning: TFF (registration required).

Doctor vs Doctor: The Zygon Alliance, a sequel to Doctor vs Doctor, a Doctor Who/House crossover. Only one chapter in the sequel so far, and the chapters are rather short, but they do seem to capture the feel of the series (at least as far as I know them, I'm not very familiar with House) quite well.

Windows of the Soul, a Mai-HiME fic by Lestaki.  It's a Shizuru/Natsuki story that focuses on the psychological aftermath of the Carnival and how it affects and reflects their relationship, whatever form it has.  Well done, quite long, and it's complete!

Harry Potter and the Conversation

(Warning: TFF - Registration required).

Harry Potter sits down to have a chat with Lord Voldemort.
Shortfic, complete.

A new Nanoha/Ranma time loop story Meeting Nanoha which seems to be Ranma's first encounter with that timeline. Already up to the StikerS period and Ranma Scrya and Nanoha are not friends, which is interesting.

Animaniacs, "E! True Hollywood Story/Who framed Roger Rabbit?" type of fic. Sort of a "before they were stars."

Who Saves The Hero

http://www.fanfiction.net...891/1/Who_Saves_the_Hero

Mass Effect 2. f!Shep/Samara. Shepard wakes up to find the world different. Mostly working within canon but expanding on dialogue scenes for some interesting and different slants on events.

The Legend of Zelda: Exoria
Alternate-universe version.  Link is a stoic MIB with a gunsword, Zelda is the Princess of a Hyrule being invaded by enemy forces and has to flee for her life and that of her kingdom, and Epona is a motorcycle.
No.  Epona is the motorcycle.
Wins style points from me for lampshading Link as the Silent Hero, and for subtly observing many points of canon while being surprisingly well-written and just plain fun.  The Rule of Cool is thoroughly in effect here.
Bonus points:
Quote:Although not known for his sense of humor, Link still managed to convey a joke as he expressionlessly – no smile included – made what amounted to a slightly exaggerated bow offered in the presence of royalty. The message was awfully clear in its good-natured, well-intended sarcasm: "Well, excuse me, Princess."

Dragon Age. Loghain / Cousland. One-shot. I couldn't stop laughing through the piece.

Quote:Some things he could see for himself, of course. It had not taken more than two days in the girl's company to notice that she never missed a chance at loot.

It had shocked him somewhat, that first time, seeing her and the Orlesian leaving the road to examine a pair of swollen corpses. At first he thought those two rather sweet young girls were going over to say a prayer. They fell to their knees on the ground besides the bodies, indeed, but only to rifle the pockets of the dead.

Since then, wherever they went, if there was an abandoned wagon, or a dead body, or a deserted cottage (or even sometimes not so deserted a cottage), he saw that the girl would take anything not absolutely nailed down. And finding nice things always pleased her. She did not hoard them selfishly away, however, for the Orlesian told Loghain that the girl liked to give presents.

*snerk* I guess it would look sort of utterly ridiculous from the outside.

It's strange that from the perspective of J. Random Commoner, most RPG characters are utter selfish bastards. At least when it comes to personal property.

I mean even Link stormed into peoples houses and broke all their pottery.

I thought it hilarious if awkward when in Jade Empire, one of the peasants called me out on it for apparently stealing his life savings. (Sorry!) Well, by called out, I mean he hemmed and hawed and politely told me about how his life savings were in a chest and he knew the money was still in the chest after the thugs were killed but not afterward... Like I said, awkward. Especially since I spent all the money already and then after I promised to return the money, the village got bombed. Oops.
