The Left guy is Matt Smith, who is the current Doctor Who. The guy on the right is Nathan Fillion, who is currently 'Frank Castle' of the police procedural 'Castle'. But he's also known as 'Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds' of the show 'Firefly'.

A lot of people giggle at the image of the Doctor meeting Mal Reynolds/Castle/Captain Penis. So do I in fact. All those images offer lots of comedy. Having seen plenty of stuff with both Matt and Nathan just being themselves though, the comedy potential of THAT cracks me up completely.

Since someone brought up the topic of Black Lagoon, I thought I'd show this lovely picture of Revy-chan with her beloved Laika-sempai.
If I hadn't seen that Azumanga pic above, I probably wouldn't have planned on crossing over to BL in my Azu fic.  I'll have to keep it from getting too dark, but Roanapur sure seems like a fun place to visit.  In the 'dodging bullets' sense of fun, I guess.

Edit: At least the bottom part is, I am not so sure about the two top images.

I had half-suspected it might be the case, given how spot-on the style was, but I couldn't remember her name at all and the look was just different enough from the originals (shaded and blended colors as opposed to black outline and solid tones) that I thought it might be someone duplicating the appearance of her work for giggles.
