For those Verizon users
For those Verizon users

Did you guys know that Verizon gives you the option of either taking $10.00 off your phone bill or an extra 1 gig of data? All you have to do is change your plans? And they have not publicized it AFAIK?

Interesting. What's the change to make, and who do you talk to?

Be careful of this if you have one of the older plans. Some folks are grandfathered into them and Verizon uses tactics like this to tempt them into newer, more expensive, more limited plans.

I had the old unlimited plans from way back. What I did was that I went to my verizon account on the internet and changed the plan myself. The option was either 10 bucks off or 1 more additional gig of data. I already signed up for the 1 gig plan prior to that and got another gig as a promo when I got an Ellipse 7 for essentially nothing. Not a great tablet either, but you get what you pay for.  So either 3 gig a month for $110.00 dollars or 2 gig a month for 100 bucks.in my cases. Unless I decided to cut the cord on my cable, I don't see myself using beyond 2 gig.
